Forest, Environmental Research & Services (FERS) Ltd was founded in 2005 by Dr. Pat Moran and Dr. Kevin Black. Based in counties Carlow and Meath, FERS provides ecological consultancy across Appropriate Assessment, Ecological Impact Assessment, and protected species survey work, alongside forestry, GIS and carbon sequestration services. We draw on extensive field experience and modern technological tools, including GIS, drone imagery, thermal imaging, and bioacoustics, to deliver ecological assessments to the highest standard, efficiently and cost-effectively.
